Papavasilopoulos Vasileios

Vasilios Papavasilopoulos graduated from School of Medicine of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1984 and completed his residency in Biopathology (former Microbiology) in 1994. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the National School of Public Health from National School of Public Health (1993) and a PhD from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2014). He belonged to the permanent staff of the Department of Parasitology, Entomology and Tropical Diseases, National School of Public Health (NSPH) since 2019, when NSPH was merged with University of West Attica. Since then he is a member of the academic community of the University, he belongs to the Lab Teaching Staff of the Department of Public Health Policy, School of Public Health, and also to the research team of the Laboratory for the Surveillance of Infectious Diseases (LSID). He has considerable laboratory and teaching experience. He also has published research articles in scientific international journals and has participated in many Greek and international conferences.
