Structure

The MSc. in Public Health is a two-years full-time program. There is no provision for part-time study. Students are required to choose between three different specializations.

All courses are organized in a modular form, with a frequency between 1-2 times per month, in specific continuing dates during the week (evening classes) and during Saturdays and Sundays (all-day classes) according to the schedule. Each module comprises of thirty-nine (39) teaching hours per semester (lectures, assignments, case reports) and accounts for (6) ECTS. During the first three semesters all students have to successfully complete 15 compulsory modules for each specialization (5 modules at each semester), which account for (90) ECTS, while in the forth semester a postgraduate project thesis is assigned to each student, corresponding to thirty (30) ECTS. The MSc. covers (120) ECTS in total.

Tuition fees are 3,600€ paid in 4-8 equal installments. A provision exists so that up to 30% of students may receive exemption from fees payment based on their income.

This MSc. program is open to graduates with a higher degree (National or European Universities) in Health, Biological, Agricultural, Environmental, Social, Law, Political sciences and humanities, that fulfill the entrance requirements.
