Nikolaos Vlachadis graduated with honors (magna cum laude) from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the “Laiko” Hospital and the “Alexandra” Hospital in Athens. He has received a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the National School of Public Health with grade Excellent. He has also received a Master’s Degree in “Research in Female Reproduction” from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with distinction. He holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a thesis on the genetic epidemiology of miscarriages and implantation failures after IVF.

He serves at the National Health System as a consultant in Obstetrics-Gynecology. He has received further training in Obstetrical and Gynecological Ultrasound and Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the “Elena Venizelou” Hospital in Athens. He has participated in more than 300 Greek and international medical scientific conferences and seminars. His research work includes more than 300 publications in scientific journals and proceedings of medical conferences, with more than 1,300 references. For the last 10 years, he has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Population Genetics at the University of West Attica and the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
